    FAQS

    • Who will I see for my dental implant consultation and treatment?

Your dental implant consultation will be with Dr David Norcross or Dr David O’Dowling, our experienced implant dentists at Perth Dental Implant Centre.

Dr Norcross and Dr O’Dowling provide all dental implant consultations and implant surgery at our dedicated implant and surgical clinic located under the same roof as Revive Dental in Applecross.

    • What’s included in my free dental implant consultation?

Your complimentary consultation and scan is valued at $609 and is designed to give you a clearer understanding of your treatment options.

Your consultation will be with one of the experienced implant dentists at Perth Dental Implant Centre, our dedicated implant and surgical clinic located under the same roof as Revive Dental.

Your appointment also includes photos and records of your teeth, diagnostic models, a 3D CBCT scan (where needed) and a tailored treatment plan.

If you’ve had a CBCT scan with another dentist within the past three months, we may be able to use this instead. When you fill in a records release form, we’ll get in touch with them directly.

    • How do I know if dental implants are right for me?

The best way to find out is to have your individual needs assessed.

Your dentist will look at your teeth and gums, available bone, general health and what you’d like to achieve. They’ll then talk you through whether dental implants could be suitable for you and what other options may be available.

Sometimes additional treatment is recommended before implant treatment can go ahead. We’ll provide you with a clear plan on any pre-treatments and an estimated timeline to help you prepare for dental implants.

    • Do I have to go ahead with treatment after my consultation?

No. Your consultation is about understanding your options, there’s no obligation to go ahead with treatment.

If dental implants are suitable for you, we’ll explain the recommended treatment, answer your questions and provide you with a written treatment plan and fee estimate.

You can then take the time to consider your options before deciding what’s right for you.

If dental implants aren’t the best option for you, we may recommend alternative treatment. Where appropriate, this may be provided by one of the dentists at Revive Dental.

    • How much will my dental implants cost?

Every patient is different, so the cost of dental implants depends on the treatment you need.

The number of implants, the complexity of your treatment and whether you need any additional procedures can affect cost. Sedation, anaesthetist or hospital fees may also apply.

As a guide, Single dental implants start from $4,500 per tooth, and All-on-4® / full mouth dental implants start from $17,250 per arch.

After your consultation, you’ll receive a personalised treatment plan and fee estimate so you know what’s involved and what it will cost before you decide to proceed.

You can also ask us about payment plan options and health insurance rebates before your appointment.

    • Will I be awake during dental implant treatment?

There are different options available to help keep you comfortable during dental implant treatment.

Depending on your treatment and individual needs, your procedure may be completed with local anaesthetic, IV sedation or general anaesthetic.

If you’re feeling nervous about treatment, let us know during your free consultation. Your dentist can talk you through the available options and what may be suitable for you.

Book your appointment today & let our team revitalise your smile.
